“Bulstrad Occupational Medicine” Ltd. is a subsidiary of “Bulstrad Health”, established in 2008 to offer quality service according to current legislation to Bulgarian business at competitive price. The company is registered as occupational health service provider in the Ministry of Health under №316-2/04.12.2009.

Our purpose is to facilitate managers of our clients by providing an adequate basis for making decisions on protecting and improving the health of employees in their companies and thus assist the successful realization of their objectives. Services offered by“Bulstrad Occupational Medicine” Ltd. include all activities regulated byOrdinance №3 of 25 January 2008 for the occupational health services.

Our experts will monitor, analyze, evaluate the health status of employees by:

 1.   Assessment of workplaces, positions, used equipment,machinery, raw materials and finished products.

 2.   Programming of risk assessment at work and use of equipment, machinery and facilities. Analysis of results of specialized measurements made to harmful factors of working environment. Clarification of the employees working under hazardous conditions. Preparation of lists of workers entitled to special privileges and clothing consistent with the current regulations in the country, preparation of cards to assess the conditions of each workplace.

 3.   Evaluation of thecollective andpersonal protective equipment andconsultation onselectionof newones, whichmeet the requirements ofregulationsin the country.Assessment of waysto identifyexisting hazardsand healthfactors.

 4.   Assessment of the health status of employees and its relation to working conditions, by analyzing: the morbidity on hospital data sheets for temporary disability, registered occupational accidents and diseases, analysis of results from periodic screening, preparation of medical records of workers on recruitment.

 5.   Elaboration of recommendations for the selection of new equipment and materials, advice and suggestions for their introduction into production.

 6.   Participation in the elaboration of internal regulations, rules and safety instructions. Consultancy for management and individually for all employees on occupational safety and health.

 7.   Elaboration of training programs and participation in training of committees and groups of workers and all employees on the rules for first aid, self-help and mutual assistance in situations.

 8.   Assessment and suggestions for improving the sanitary service.

 9.   Establishment of a program promoting health to eliminate or reduce the impact of risk factors.

10.   Training of officials and representatives on rules to ensure healthyand safe working conditions.
