Tax Benefits

For employers:

Under amendments to the Law on Corporate Income Taxation, Article 204 and 208, the costs for contributions (premiums) for voluntary pension and health insurance, for voluntary unemployment and/or professional qualifications insurance and/or “Life” insurance and “Life” insurance if connected to an investment fund, amounting up to 60 lv. per month for each employee are not subject to taxation if the company has no public duties at the time of consumption.

 

For employees in the company if self-insured:

Under Article 19 of the Law on Income Tax of Individuals, "the amount of annual tax base is reduced by the amount of the payments for personal voluntary health insurance  and "Life" insurance  in total of no more than 10% of the amount of annual tax base”.
